The Size of an Average Bale of Woodwool is approx. 14” high x 19” wide x 33” long. (355mm high by 480mm wide by 840mm long)

GTE 1
Produced from home grown softwood timber and packed in 20kg bales. This grade is semi dry and is the popular type of Woodwool that can be used to pack a very wide range of items. E.g. Large hampers.

GTE 2
Produced from Home grown and imported softwood timber and packed in 20kg bales. This grade has the same moisture content as GTE 1 but the strands are finer. This Woodwool is used mostly for presentation packaging. Eg. Hampers & Gift Sets.

GTE 3
Produced from home grown and imported softwood timber and packed in 20kg bales, or bagged in smaller quantities if required. This is next to the finest cut of Woodwool that we produce and is used for top of the range market presentation packaging, and also as a filling for soft toys.

GTE 5
Produced from kiln dried timber and packed in 1kg, 2kg, 5kgs and 10kg bags or 20kg bales. This grade of Woodwool is the most suitable of the grades for stuffing authentic Teddy Bears and soft toys. It can also be used for the packaging of delicate cut flowers and for exclusive small gifts. This is our softest grade.

Grade Dry
Produced from home-grown softwood timber and packed in 20kg bales. This dry grade of Woodwool is suitable for packing engineering parts, export items and items stored over a long period of time. It is also ideal used as bedding for dogs and other small pets.

Grade Fresh Felled
Produced from home-grown softwood timber and packed in 20kg bales. This is a moist grade of Woodwool used for the packing of sanitary ware, clay pipes, garden ornaments etc. or bulk items where the moisture content of the Woodwool is not a consideration.
